COVID-19 Updates

This webpage is designed to provide the most up to date information we have available regarding the life and ministry of Broadmoor Baptist in Shreveport, LA.

We want to let you know that the health and safety of our members, guests, and staff is our priority. We have a team in place who are closely monitoring the situation, and we will adhere to any recommendations made by the CDC and local health officials regarding public gatherings. This is a dynamic situation that is changing every day. As information develops, we will update this page with answers to commonly-asked questions. Below are some questions we can address at this time.

Is Broadmoor gathering for services?

Yes we are!

We are able to fill all our Worship spaces up to 75% occupancy.   Every other row has been blocked off and we are asking that you help us by wearing a mask at all times and continue to sit at least 6 feet away from people who are not a part of your family.

We have room for you!

Our Service times have recently been adjusted.  As of Sunday, July 12 here are the "in-person" service options:

Featuring small groups of our Celebration Choir and Orchestra

9:30 AM DOXA Worship in Worship Center South

11:00 AM DOXA Worship in Worship Center South

11:00 AM Hispanic Worship in Memorial Chapel

If you are not ready or are unable to attend for whatever reason, we will continue to worship together online during all 3 services. You will be able to find our live streams here on our website and on our Facebook Page

For those who are not able to access our digital pathways, we have set up a regular phone in option.  Simply dial 318-703-2511 to listen to the service.  If you know of someone who would rather use this pathway, please help us by spreading the word.

What about B Groups and D Groups?
Will they meet?

Our building is now open for small group meetings.  We have removed tables from the rooms and have spaced out the seating to allow for social distancing. Some classes are still meeting off site or in combination of on-site and ZOOM

All of our D-Groups are made up of 5 people.  For those groups that do decide to meet, we encourage everyone to follow the CDC's guidelines regarding social distancing and person preventive actions.  There are some spaces available for D Groups to meet in the building. Please contact Meagan Stoll for more information.

Many of our B Group and D Group leaders are using ZOOM to create online meeting sessions.  ZOOM is an internet based communication tool and therefore it has inherent security issues.  We have created a set of suggestions for Meeting Hosts to use when setting up their meetings.  Following these settings will help protect users.
