Counseling Ministry
Scope: If there is ever a time when you face personal or family problems which seem to extend beyond the limits of regular pastoral counseling - marital strife, separation, divorce, single parenting, blended family problems, grief recovery, acute stress and depression, drug and alcohol abuse - we offer compassionate care and real hope.
Confidentiality: All counseling matters are handled discretely and confidentially as privileged communication. I do not share information from the counseling office with anyone without your specific, written permission.
Referrals: Referrals to other mental health professionals in the area will be made if deemed necessary to meet your specific needs.
Appointments: For appointments on Tuesday through Friday, please call me directly at 629-4109. If I am in a session, your call will go to my voicemail. I will return your call as quickly as possible. For those whose work schedule cannot be interrupted during regular hours, special appointment times can be arranged.
Fees: There are no fees for members of Broadmoor Baptist Church. We want you to receive help regardless of your financial situation. Special arrangements will be made for non-members whose ability to pay has been compromised by their life circumstance.
Email questions: If you have questions about counseling or if you are seeking referral to a Christian counselor in your area, please send your confidential request to derekp@broadmoor.tv. It will be delivered directly to me, and I will respond as quickly as possible.
God's Plan: God has a wonderful plan for your life. Don't give up, no matter what you are facing. You can believe God's Word...
"For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." - Jeremiah 29:11
